Brooklyn Farmer Premiering at DOC NYC

Brooklyn Farmer will be making its world premiere this November as the closing film in the 2013 SHORTS: PEOPLE & PLACES showcase at DOC NYC. The film has been a long time in the making and we couldn’t be prouder to finally share this story of how the team of street-smart farmers at Brooklyn Grange successfully transformed the black tar over the Brooklyn Navy yards into the world’s largest rooftop farm.

The showcase features some truly exciting shorts, and we’re looking forward to playing next to work by Steve Birnbaum, Cathryne Czubek, Dana O’Keefe and Sasha Kliment.

Buy tickets for the screening - Saturday Nov. 16 11:30AM at the beautiful SVA Theater in Chelsea.

Director Michael Tyburski, Producer Burke Cherrie and the Brooklyn Grange team will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A.
